Desolation Row's journey begins in September 2019, with 4 newly made friends forming the band at a cafe in Nea Smyrni. Then came various lineup changes, failed live attempts, songs that were never meant to be, and finally, the pandemic struck. After all this, a stable lineup came to be in 2022: Phil on lead vocals, Xen on rhythm guitars and backing vocals, Pan on lead guitars, Andrew on the bass guitar and Tolis on the drums.
With the lockdowns (and all previous struggles) in their rear mirror, the band started working on their own material, played their first live on May 2023 at BUMS, and followed that by releasing their first singles Chasing Shadows and Better Without Me, along with playing more lives in more venues (An Club, Level69 Club).
2024 would be their highlight year. Its start found the band with a new member, Christina (keyboards/backing vocals) and then came the release of their debut EP Afraid to Dream and its live presentation on Ilion Plus. In early autumn, the band released their intepretation of "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park, and their latest single The Devil's Blessed came on Christmas Eve. Ever since, Desolation Row have been working on a (yet unnamed) LP, while still playing lives around the local scene.
